Instructions
- To start, heat a large pan over medium-high heat and add the vegetable oil. Once hot, add the shishitos. Sauté them for 5-7 minutes, turning them occasionally, until they are golden and slightly blistered.
- While the shishitos are cooking, prepare the sauce. Mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, salsa macha, and brown sugar in a small bowl.
- Stir well until everything is combined and the sugar has dissolved.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the shishito peppers in the pan. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring the peppers so they get well coated with the glaze.
- Remove the peppers from the pan and serve them hot. You can garnish them with a bit of toasted sesame seeds or chopped green onions.
