Lime juice | 15 ml |

Instructions
- Start to infuse the habanero. In a shaker, add the chopped habanero pepper along with the apple juice. Muddle the habanero slightly with a muddler or spoon to release its flavor and heat. Keep in mind that habanero is strong, so you can adjust the amount according to your spice tolerance.
- Add the tequila or mezcal (if using), lime juice, and agave syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill the mixture and ensure the flavors are well integrated.
- If you'd like to rim the glass, rub the edge with a lime wedge and then dip it in Tajín or salt, depending on your preference. This step is optional but adds an extra touch of flavor.
- Pour the cocktail into the glass filled with ice. Add a cinnamon stick for decoration and aroma. You can leave the cinnamon stick in the cocktail to release its flavor over time or remove it after a few minutes.
