Instructions
  1. Prepare the ingredients: Thoroughly wash the Red Fresno and the red bell pepper. Remove the seeds and chop into large pieces to make blending easier.
  2. Blend the mixture: In a blender, combine the Red Fresno chilies, red bell pepper, onion, garlic, tomato purée, apple cider vinegar, fish sauce, honey, paprika, and a pinch of salt. Blend at medium speed until smooth.
  3. Cook the sauce: Pour the mixture into a saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  4. Adjust the flavors: Let the sauce cool and taste it. If you prefer more acidity, add the juice of half a lemon and stir well. Adjust the salt and other seasonings if necessary.
