Instructions
- Prepare the pepper base: Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and onion, cooking until golden and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the peppers and thyme: Add the sliced Red Fresno and habanero peppers along with the thyme sprigs. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peppers are soft and starting to caramelize. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Mix the butter: In a large bowl, place the room-temperature butter sticks. Add the caramelized pepper mixture (remove the thyme sprigs), honey, black pepper to taste, fresh parsley, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Freeze or refrigerate: Place the mixture in plastic wrap or an airtight container. You can freeze it for 15-20 minutes if you want it to firm up quickly, or refrigerate it for a softer texture.
- Serve and enjoy: Your spicy honey butter is ready! Use it as a delicious spread or accompaniment for your favorite dishes.
