Cauliflower Wings

Ingredients Qty
Cauliflower 1 piece
Habanero pepper 1-2 pcs
Whole wheat flour 1/2 cup
Chickpea flour 1/2 cup
Plant-based Milk 1/2 cup
Siracha sauce 1/4 cup
Cornstarch 1/4 cup
Buffalo wings sauce 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the habanero peppers  
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, mix the buffalo sauce, siracha sauce and the habanero peppers. Once our ingredientes are well mixed, remove from heat and let it rest.
  3. Break the cauliflower into florets
  4. In a bowl, add the flour (whole wheat and chickpea) cornstarch, and a little bit of salt and pepper; stir until well-combined. In another bowl add the milk.
  5. Add the cauliflower florets to the milk and then to the flour mix. We repeat this steps twice, making sure each piece is evenly coated.
  6. Arrange the cauliflower florets in the air-fryer and cook for 15 minutes at 200°C. You can also bake the cauliflower in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Once the cauliflower is cooked, pour the sauce over.
  8. Serve the cauliflower with sesame seeds on top and enjoy!
