Their tender texture and mild hint of heat make them the perfect ingredient for experimenting with different flavor combinations. In this recipe, the shishitos are saut\u00e9ed until crispy and coated in a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, and honey, complemented by salsa macha and the sweetness of brown sugar. The result is a dish with an explosion of sweet, salty, and spicy flavors, ideal to enjoy on its own or as a side dish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below you will find our recipe <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Qty<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Shishito Peppers<\/td><td>227 gr                       <\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Soy sauce <\/td><td>3 tbsp<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Sesame oil<\/td><td>1 tbsp<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Honey<\/td><td>1 tbsp<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Salsa Macha<\/td><td>1 tbsp<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Brown Sugar<\/td><td>1 tsp<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To start, heat a large pan over medium-high heat and add the vegetable oil. Once hot, add the shishitos. Saut\u00e9 them for 5-7 minutes, turning them occasionally, until they are golden and slightly blistered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While the shishitos are cooking, prepare the sauce. Mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, salsa macha, and brown sugar in a small bowl. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stir well until everything is combined and the sugar has dissolved. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour the sauce mixture over the shishito peppers in the pan. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring the peppers so they get well coated with the glaze.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove the peppers from the pan and serve them hot.
